To whom it may concern,

My first encounter with Seamstress Mary was about 3 years ago. My sister Liz and I were bridesmaids in our brother's wedding and Liz needed her dress hemmed up. We had had to order our dresses months before the wedding and when the dresses arrived we went straight to Seamstress Mary's to have it altered. However, when she tried on her gown, it wasn't only too long, it wouldn't zip up either. Liz broke down in tears. Mary came in and calmed her down in a matter of minutes. She told her exactly how she was going to make this dress the most beautiful gown she would ever wear, and Liz wouldn't have to starve herself for the next couple of weeks. Liz left with a smile on her face.
When we went back to pick up her dress, Mary had taken the zipper partially out and created a beautiful laced up back with fabric that matched the flower girls dresses. Then I tried on my gown, and had a problem because I was so tightly squeezed into the dress that it didn't look good at all. So Mary created the same lace up back for my gown too. We couldn't have had a more perfect gown for a more perfect day. Mary is always finding a way to make everyone look their best.
More recently, I became engaged and went to my closet for the perfect gown, but it needed a few fixes and a good cleaning. Living in Seattle now, I went around to some of the local alterations shops. Quickly realizing that I didn't feel comfortable with anyone I encountered in my search, I got on the phone to make an appointment to go to see Seamstess Mary. It was the best decision I could've made, Mary sat down on her bench and went to work on the hem of my gown, fit me with the proper undergarments and it was an instant transformation. The day of my wedding was the most wonderful day of my life, I didn't have to worry that my dress would be anything but perfect, thanks to Mary.
I am certain that I am only one of thousands of pleased and happy customers who would gladly take a few minutes to write a recommendation for this wonderful woman and her business.
I hope that this helps you out Mary! Thank you so much for everything you've done for my family.
